How to Register?

To register please click here and fill in the registration form.
Once you submit the form, you will receive an email with a confirmation link, please follow this link to verify your email address.
Without verifying your account, you will not be able to fully use the site.

How to Play?

When you have registered and logged in, head over to "Enter My Predictions".

On this screen you will see all upcoming fixtures (see example below). Once you have entered as many predictions as you like then just click the "Submit Predictions" button at the top of the screen to save them. You can update/edit and resubmit a prediction for a fixture at any time before the match kicks off.

Once a match kicks off the prediction will disappear from the predictions list and no more submissions will be accepted for that match.

Once a match finishes your prediction will be compared to the actual result and your points will be calculated (see details on points further down).

Go to your leagues and see how well you are doing.

Don't forget to text any friends that you've overtaken in your leagues to remind them how much better you are than them!

How to only see specific competitions?

If you only have an interest in specific competitions you can filter the website to show or hide any of the available competition.

you can do this by clicking the little settings cog wheel next to the All User Leagues, or by going to "My Account" and editing the ist from there.

This is a new feature as of January 2025 so if you have any issues with it please contact support@FantasyScoreline.com.

It is worth revisiting this list from time to time to see what other competitions are availble as the list will grow.

How to Earn Points?

For each of your predictions there are 4 possible point outcomes that you can receive

15Points Your prediction was exactly correct
e.g. if you predicted a Home win of 2-0 and the actual result was a Home win of 2-0
10Points Result and goal difference were correct
e.g. if you predicted a Home win of 2-0 but the actual result was a Home win of 3-1 - i.e. correct result plus a 2 goal difference
5Points Only the result was correct
e.g. if you predicted a Home win of 2-0 but the actual result was a Home win of 1-0
0Points Result is wrong OR you made no prediction
e.g. if you predicted a Home win of 2-0 but the actual result was an Away win of 0-1

Bonus points can be earned during tournaments (e.g. World Cup / EUROs0 when Extra Time and Penalties are in use. Bonus points follow the same pattern as the main points structure but hold less value as they are added on top of any points already earned for the fixture's 90 minute result.
As these bonus points are applied to both Extra Time and Penalties; if a match goes to penalties and you predicted it going to penalties, then you could earn up to 6 points on top of your main prediction.
3Points Your prediction was exactly correct
e.g. if you predicted an ExtraTime result of 2-0 and the actual ExtraTime result was 2-0
2Points Result and goal difference were correct
e.g. if you predicted Penalties to finish 3-5 but the actual actual Penalties finished 4-2 - i.e. correct result plus a 2 goal difference
1Point Only the result was correct
e.g. if you predicted an ExtraTime result of 0-1 and the actual ExtraTime result was 0-2
0Points Result is wrong OR you made no prediction
e.g. if you predicted an ExtraTime result of 1-0 but the actual match never went to ExtraTime

How To Predict More Accurately?

Only available for some competitions at present.
If you find yourself unsure what to submit as a prediction for a particular match, don't worry, we have a helping hand for you.

On the "Enter My Predictions" page you can click on any of the fixtures to go to a comparison page for both of the teams in that fixture.

The comparison page will show you the stats behind every time those 2 teams have met in recent years (see note below).

"Hmmm, form against each other might be good but I wonder how their recent form has been", don't worry, you can click on one of the team's crests and go to that team's form page with their recent league form detailed.

"Hmmm, I wonder if there is something else I'm missing", don't worry, you can click the team's crest on their team form page and go direct to their official website to see all team news directly at source (just like the team's fans do!)

NOTE: comparisons will go back to 1992 for English Premier League, 2012 for LOI Premier (plans to extend this to 2003) and 2020 for LOI First Division (plans to extend this to 2003). As other Competitions are added there will be a period when the history will be limited, this is just down to finding time to source the results and add them to the database.

How to Join a League?

To do this, you will need to login/register then click the "Create/Join League" icon at the top of the homepage. On this page you can enter the League Code and Password in the "Join Existing League" section.

Provided you have been given the correct codes and haven't mistyped them, you will then be added to that League. As a member of the league, it will now appear in your list of "My Leagues".

NOTE: you can join (or create) as many mini leagues as you like.

How to Create a League?

On the "Create New League" page you simply need to select what available competition the mini league is for and type a name for your league, then click "Create". A generic password will be created for you but you will be given the change to change this. Once created you will see your new league appear in your list of leagues.

Now all you need to do is share your league's access details with your friends via the various share or copy icons to the far right of your league's name.

What else?

If you ever want to change your submitted predictions, you can return to the predictions page at any point before the match kicks off to update them.

Once a match kicks off, that fixture will be removed from the list and will no longer accept submissions (for obvious reasons).

Fixtures can also be rescheduled with little notice (particularly in the second half of the season due to cup runs, and European runs), these will also be emailed out to anyone who has opted in for the fixture update subscription.
For EPL 2020/2021 season, Covid19 is causing more regular fixture changes and less notice on confirmed kick off times, this is leading to an increased volume of changes than usual, please ensure you keep on track of your predictions.

Some quick advice is to spend a few minutes each month predicting all available matches and then closer to kick-off time you can log in to change them if needed. This will ensure that you don't accidentally miss a prediction, especially if fixtures are rescheduled.

"My Submitted Predictions"
Can't remember what you predicted for a match after it has just kicked-off? No problem. Head over to this page to view the predictions you have submitted. As an added bonus you can also see your predictions Vs the actual results and how many points you have accrued.
